My names is Dave and I’m a conflict resolution professional, mediator, and educator dedicated to advancing Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) as a practical, equity-driven tool for leadership, dialogue, and systems change. With over a decade of experience spanning labour relations, civil mediation, administrative law, and conflict transformation, I bring a multi-faceted approach to resolving disputes and building capacity across diverse professional settings.

As the founder of The ADR Room, I provide tailored services in Mediation, Conflict Coaching, Group Facilitation, and ADR Training. My goal is to offer grounded, accessible support that empowers individuals and organizations to navigate conflict with clarity, integrity, and purpose.

Throughout my career, I have represented individuals and teams in complex disputes, including grievances, mediations, arbitrations, and regulatory proceedings. This work has required deep fluency in legislative frameworks, strong advocacy, principled negotiation, and a commitment to procedural fairness.

As an instructor of negotiation and mediation at the postsecondary level, I create interactive, inclusive learning environments where professionals strengthen their skills in interest-based negotiation, principled resolution design, and neutral facilitation. I take pride in helping learners develop not only technical competence, but the confidence to lead with empathy and clarity.

My earlier roles in adjudicative and investigative capacities involved decision writing, administrative review, and restorative dialogue facilitation. These experiences sharpened my ability to manage emotionally charged matters while upholding transparency, due process, and access to justice.
